The Potter of Life

Jeremiah 18:1-6 "The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying. Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words. Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying. O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel".

There's is something remarkable about this very verse, the message God wanted to give to Jeremiah can not be heared anywhere but in the Potter's house.

But who is a Potter- he is one who uses clay to mold different objects. The most important thing to regard about a Potter is that the size, shape, height, width etc of the objects he is molding all depend on his choice.
Bringing this to our lives, we have all been pottered into different shapes and sizes for a peculiar purpose not to our own choice but to the choice of the creator.
Cursed is he who said he or she is not created well.
Can a clay detect to the the Potter of what it should be made of?
Certainly not!
So however you have been created- it is for a special purpose.

Office chairs, sitting room chairs and dinning chairs are all made of wood and similar materials but theirs shapes and sizes determine their area of function.

God has created you and allocated you to a defined place for your proper functioning, what am saying in essence is you can not function properly outside of your Devine location just as a wall fan can not function properly when placed in the position of a ceiling fan.

Utensils are made in different shape and sizes but the very absence of any is greatly felt in the house. So are our gifts in the house of God.

I have come to realize that plastic tables, chairs, buckets etc are all made of plastic but what determines what they are is the shape.
What this implies is your shape determines who you are.

And also, do you know that some cars have the same engine but are not of same price. What happened?
The price difference is a result of differences in their shapes.
Are you hearing me somebody, your shape adds value to you.

Conclusion:
Children of God, do you need reshaping, rebranding, transformation, let's go to the house of the Potter.
Let's go before the Potter of our lives in prayer.

When Jesus healed the blind man, the Potter spat on the ground, he made a mould out of it and he created an eye with it referencing the origin of creation- for out of the soil was man formed.
SAY THESE:
OH Lord my Potter, I come to thee, remold me and reposition me to my area of maximum function in Jesus name...Amen!
